It's been long time coming, and tennis holidays 2020 have finally arrived. We decided it was time to freshen up our offer, and take things a step further. Don't worry, we are still the amazing tailor made tennis holidays you know and love. But, we wanted to showcase the natural wonders of Croatia more, to let you have fun not just in the tennis center, resorts or the beach. And we wanted to put a greater emphasis on family holidays, activity holidays and social tennis.

Makarska is an old port town, with one of the most breathtaking rivieras on the Adriatic coast. It is overlooked by mountain of Biokovo, with plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring. Also, Makarska is a great base if you're looking for an affordable way to explore Dalmatia.

Novi Vinodolski
Novi Vinodolski is a picturesque little town in Kvarner Bay. It is the best place for family holidays in Croatia. Hotel Lišanj is very toddler friendly. Their activities that will keep your children entertained through the entire day. The amazing hospitality of local people is known far and wide. Opatija
Opatija, our next tennis destination, is often called Pearl of The Adriatic. But don't confuse it with Dubrovnik. :) The climate is mild, and the air is clean and enriched with sea aerosol. The town was a favorite summer and winter destination of the Austro-Hungarian nobility. Since 19th century tourists have been flocking to Opatija to improve their health. It's an all rounder town, and one of the best wellness retreats and healing holidays in the region.
And did you know that the city of Rijeka, only 15 minutes away, is one of the best cultural destinations in the next year? Rijeka is the 2020 European Capital of Culture! So expect tremendous amount of events around Opatija.

Turanj
Turanj is a charming tourist settlement near Sv. Filip i Jakov and Biograd Na Moru. It is about 25 km from Zadar and 4 km from Šibenik. You will be able to visit these two very popular tourist towns, and to travel the entire Dalmatian coast. It is surrounded by a beautiful archipelago of 16 islands. It's peaceful, quiet and full of magical views of the archipelago. And if you stay there, you get to play in Ilirija Tennis Center. Those are the courts where Ilirija Tennis Center Academy, one of the best tennis academies in this part of Europe, is located.

A lot of those breaks are right around the Bank holidays, which makes them ideal tennis holidays for UK travelers. Singles tennis holidays
Singles tennis holidays are another group of holidays we wanted to emphasize. This year we have much more dates for singles (pun intended :). No one should skip out on tennis because they travel alone. Our singles holidays have no age limit. They are not reserved exclusively for people who want to change their status from single to... well, something else :) They are first of all tennis holidays for solo travelers. If you would like to meet a potential romantic interest, great. If you just happen to travel alone, that's also great. You are free to socialize with other guests or not. Your vacation, your choice.
But you will always have someone to play tennis with. Someone to take a picture of you or someone to have a drink and chat with, even go to the beach together. Friendships come very easily on tennis holidays. And of course, what happens in Croatia, stays in Croatia :)
Tennis clinics
Tennis clinics consist of two days of high intensity tennis drills. We focus on improving multiple aspects of your game. Things like net play, ground strokes and serves. But we also tackle the tactical level and mental state of the player during the game. Expect to get introduced to, learn or improve advanced techniques.
Holidays for women
We also added holidays for female travel groups, like women's adventure travel or wellness and healing retreats. Often times healing holidays are very polarizing - either they focus too much on activity holidays, or they shift the focus completely to enjoyment and wellness side. That’s why we wanted to mix things up and give you a bit of both. Work on your tennis skills and at the same time rejuvenate your mind, body and soul. Life is all about the balance, and so should your holidays be.
